  1. Owner programmable Features

    4th. Generation Chrysler Minivans: 2001-2007
Owner Programmable Features The van production date is June 2002 and the 300M is February 2002 and both have the new 22-pin radio plug. Possibly Chrysler felt visibility was slightly better in the van so the tilt-down mirror option was not offered?? As far as the TPMS goes, anyone's guess...
  2. Owner programmable Features

    4th. Generation Chrysler Minivans: 2001-2007
Hi Group, anyone know what year the backup assist (side view mirrors turn down) was introduced on Town and Country's? My 02 T&C limited does not appear to have this feature on my EVIC but my 02 Chrysler 300M does. One other thing that bothers me too is the tire pressure monitor system, my T&C...
  3. UConnect module for 04-07 minivan

    Items Wanted
It might be the Sirius/DVD splitter box. The RB1 only has one aux input in the rear so using two external devices, (SAT tuner and the DVD player), it would need the Mopar splitter. If that's it, it should have three harnesses connected to it. One from the SAT tuner, one from the DVD deck and one...
  4. Satellite Tuner/Receiver module location

    Audio/Video/Electronics
Hi Group, I'm adding Sirius satellite to a recently acquired RB1 NAV unit in my 05 TC Limited. I'll be at the junk yard this week grabbing the antenna, wiring and module (already confirmed the wreck has them). I hope it has the splitter too so I can continue to use my CD Changer. Any info on the...
  5. What's the mileage on your 4th generation?

    4th. Generation Chrysler Minivans: 2001-2007
02 Limited 3.8 235K ! Only upgrade is the rear 6x9 infinity speakers for a pair from a 1999-2000, much better bass. (same connector) Also a RB1 Navigation radio I'm the second owner since 2009 New water pump New head gaskets New rear heater tubes New radiator. Will eventually need a new...
  6. Tire Noise

    5th. Generation Chrysler Minivans: 2008-2019
I would bet on the tires. I have Michelin Hydroedge (discontinued) on my wife's Intrepid and they wear like iron, but at a price, noise on harsh roads.
  7. Clunking and Chain dragging noises

    2nd Generation Chrysler Minivans: 1991-1995
I saw a post on a similar site where a guy took a cheap video camera and mounted it somehow under his rear bumper or where the spare tire would go to view the suspension in action. When he played the video back, he saw the culprit, in his instance it was a bad shock. It's a great idea and I...
  8. Coolant leak

    5th. Generation Chrysler Minivans: 2008-2019
Those rear HVAC setups can be tricky and expensive. I have it on my 02 Limited and whenever I'm in the junk yards and see one (up to 07 for my van) I grab the complete heater and AC lines that go back to the rear unit. I know something will give eventually (I dread it) so I'm prepared with...
  9. Time to restore/Clean my disgusting van, I need advise/tips/help though!

    4th. Generation Chrysler Minivans: 2001-2007
I was just about to suggest Bestine! I had it available in unlimited supply at my last job but now I have to buy it. I'll try the other suggestions as well since Bestine is rather expensive. It always works for me in "sticky" situations. Good luck
  10. Power Seat motor problem--help!

    4th. Generation Chrysler Minivans: 2001-2007
How did everyone make out? I have a 2002 T&C Limited and the drivers seat forward tilt up/tilt down makes noise but won't do anything. I just bought a power seat track from another T&C at the salvage yard (not limited) to swap it out. I hope the TC ES seat track and motor(s) are the same as the...
  11. Infinity or not?

    4th. Generation Chrysler Minivans: 2001-2007
I finally got my 2002 Limited Infinity to sound as good as my 94 Caravan LE. I changed the head unit to a 6-disc changer from a 06 or 07 Jeep Liberty, BIG improvement over the stock 2002 Cass/CD. But the biggest improvement came when I upgraded my rear 6X9's with 6X9's from a late 3rd gen 1999...
  12. Infinity or not?

    4th. Generation Chrysler Minivans: 2001-2007
true, the easiest way to tell is if the rear tweeter cut-outs, (there with and without infinity speakers) have hi frequency sound coming from them, if so, yes, it has Infinity speakers. Too bad they removed all external signs of the Infinity logo.
  13. Infinity speaker problem

    Audio/Video/Electronics
The relay could be bad, test it by installing the original radio. It's a little hard to reach to replace. The original radio provided power to a relay and that supplies power to the built-in amps on the door and rear speakers. The front dash speakers do not have the amps and are directly powered...
  14. Restoring Factory Radio 2001 TC w/ infinity, Speaker Harness Qs

    4th. Generation Chrysler Minivans: 2001-2007
Wow, hopefully they just tapped into the wires and didn't cut the factory MULTI-PIN connectors off entirely. Assuming your 01 is the same the same as my 02, you should have 10 speakers in 8 locations. Only the four 6x9's have power amps built-in on the speaker basket. The dash speakers and the...
  15. Service Tire System Soon - Message

    4th. Generation Chrysler Minivans: 2001-2007
Same issue here on my 02 Limited. BUT I found the fix! I found wjjeeps .com and they explain how to "train" the sensors. The dealer will use a special magnet with a hole in the center to fit over the valve stem. I used an old Infinity speaker magnet that I separated from the basket and it worked...
  16. Rear speakers on gen2 Infinity sound have no bass

    Audio/Video/Electronics
sounds like they lost power, both amps blown at the same time? highly unlikely. Do the door woofers work? if so, sounds like a wiring problem to the rear, if the door woofers don't work, check the relay, (lower center console and of course any and all fuses. Good luck!
  17. How much better is the Infinity system?

    Audio/Video/Electronics
By far, the best Infinity system I ever owned was in my 1988 Caravan, (1st gen), it had the best bass (IMO) and crisp high end, I rate it a 10. The second best was in my 2nd gen LE, ONLY after I replaced the CRAPPY cassette head unit with a 1998 cass/CD, (3rd gen) head unit, I rate it a 9. Now I...
  18. Was this a feature back then

    2nd Generation Chrysler Minivans: 1991-1995
My 94 has the internal light timer and the 1-minute headlight delay. It's the LE, so I imagine it comes with the model or was with a light package.
  19. rear wiper removal on 94 Grand Voyager

    2nd Generation Chrysler Minivans: 1991-1995
JCamastro is correct, the best way is to pull up the arm, as if you were to replace the blade, then slide out the lock lever, you may need a small screw driver to start it, then the arm should pull straight off. You may have to rock it slightly from side to side but it should slide off easy...
