I had my car in for an alignment. The mech said I had a loose tie rod and should fix before I align. I'd already replaced the right one. I replaced the left one, and now the mech said it must be an INNER tie rod. I've seen videos on how to replace, but I can get a rebuilt rack with 2 new inners...

I went to get an alignment and had the shop tell me they couldn't do it because of worn tie rods, the "front" tie rod on the driver's side, and the "back" tie rod on the passenger side. How do I tell if they're telling the truth? Is this something a backyard mechanic with only a few tools can fix?

The one thing that has always irritated me since day one with my T&C is that it has a very noticeable pull to the right. I would say I have to hold the steering wheel a good 5 degrees or more off "level" to keep it straight. I usually bring it up with the dealer when I get any service...

My 2012 T&C has pulled to the right after 4-5 visits to dealer. On surface roads and especially on the highway at 70 in EITHER driving lane. Dealer very helpful and even installed new set of Michelin tires however it didn't help. Will now call regional mfg rep on Monday. Anyone else experiencing...

Our T&C has 45K and it was time for new tires. We bought some nice Goodrich tires, a set of four and had the alignment done. This was all at a national chain (which shall remain nameless because of my affiliations with them) . The bill was solidly over $900. The air leaked out of the two...

Dear Forum, Newbie here, but longtime Chrysler minivan user and owner. Purchased a new 2011 in October. Grand Caravan with full power. My question/problem is about the doors. The driver's side power sliding door started making noise in December or January. Maybe it always did, but that's...

Hi! I have a 1998 LXi. I've been having some belt issues lately. Started out with the belt falling off when it went through a puddle. Bought a Gates kit, installed it, and all was fine for about a week. Then it started squealing. I tried and tried to get it stop squealing to no avail. Finally...
