I have been browsing this forum very long but I couldn't find an identical problem.
Vehicle is 2009 Chrysler Grand Voyager with 2.8 CRD VM Motori diesel
-Transmission shifts very well between P-R-N-D and from 1 to 6, very smooth.
-Mostly shifts well when I slow down until full stop...
After looking at this, seeing this guy get about 35MPG, it's hard not to want one.
Compared to the Diesel Van that is already available from chrysler in the UK, I still think that the better turn key option. (I don't have to worry about emissions compliance so that's a relief)
What's your experience with a VM diesel and 5 speed automatic?
What about overall reliability?
Any problems finding parts or dealers and special order is the only game in town?
I might be interested in buying one.. if I can find one in decent shape.
I am considering very much to "upgrade" the VM Motori engine in my 06 Voyager with 60.000 Km (not miles...) on with a tuning box so it goes from from 150 Hp to 180 hp (or more if i Like but thats not likely). It is a specific solutions designed for the voyager, not just a resistor fooling...
I live in Poland and I have just bought Chrysler Voyager LE 2,5TD, 2000, made in Austria for European market. Everything is just fine but one thing - the VIN number. I have tried to decypher it, but the results are strange - most of VIN decoders gives information about wrong VIN number...
