2000 T&C Limited white exterior with chrome handles . can find chrome handles however the cover plates are all black . is it possible to use the existing cover plate ? ie. can i separate the new chrome handle from the new cover plate and just use the chrome handle ?

I have a 2003 T&C van. I've replaced both sliding door motors but not the wiring harnesses. I have two issues. Since replacing the motors, I have to push the buttons on the key, overhead panel, and door posts much harder and hold them longer to get the doors to function automatically...
