Hey all, new to the forum, was just curious if anybody was running LED turn signals in their vans without having to use load resistors. Or is there some sort of adapter harness I could buy to where I don't have to splice into my original harness, I would like to avoid that if I could.
I ordered a set of LED lights which I hope will be brighter than the stock LED's, but I'd like to know how to change them out. I've seen videos on older, non-LED map lights that show the entire console being pulled off, but I'd like to know for sure.
So, what's the procedure?
I just had a great time with some LED's I got from amazon.
I can tell you full well, I AM NEVER going to trust non name brand LED ever!
First lets start off with this:
I did not know it at the time, but I was shorting out my electrical system.
So now, I have almost all my lights out...
So I bought some LED headlights off of Amazon, said they were good for my 06 T&C, and admittedly they did work...
Until you put full beams on, at which point you couldn't turn them off and they set off loads of lights on the dash, start making the windscreen wipers move and just generally...
I'm looking to replace some or all of the Incandescent lamps on my 2014 T&C with LED. I'm familiar with having to add Load resistors to "Fool" the electronics into not thinking the bulb is burned out due to the lower Draw of the LED. I see several of the replacements as being CAN Bus...
I have 2001 Grand Caravan Sport model with 3.3L engine.
I have installed LED bulbs for all turn signals. As it turned out the turn signals are blinking too fast. I don't want to cut through the wires to install the resistors. I would like to take another approach by replacing the LED...
I have installed full LED lights all over my van, inside and out. The problem I am having is hyperflash. I already have a set of four load resistors to fix them, but the wiring is the problem.
There are 3 wires; One black, one white with a green stripe, and one white with a red...
I have changed every halogen bulb in the car to LED's, with the exception of the H11 High Beam Lights. I have changed as follows:
Fog Lights - H10
Front Switchback Turn Signal - 3157
Rear Turn Signal - 3157
Reverse Lights - 3156/ 3157
License Plate Lights - Standard
Rear Hatch Light -...
I have a 2005 Town and Country Limited. The driver's heated seat light (the green backlight, not the orange indicator light) on my dashboard went out a while ago. Today, I decided to try to replace it. I went to the auto parts store, and after (finally) opening up the compartment with...
