If you're thinking of a new transmission and need reliability, I'm super happy with the Jasper trans I just had installed in my 2003 Town & Country Limited FWD. I have just finished putting 5000 miles on it and it drove fabulous. Great shifts throughout, no lockup issues at all. I had it...

My wife's 80yr old grandfather is no longer driving and wants to sell his 2003 T&C for $500 and my wife wants it. I drove out to check it out as it hasn't been driven since last November (2016). Grandpa wants to sell it cheap because of family and we can use a 2nd vehicle. He told me it had...

I mistakenly ordered a transmission valve body repair kit, but before returning it, am thinking it might be a good time to rebuild the valve body. How hard is this for an amateur with only basic tools? The kit has a bunch of O-rings, springs, and a large flat gasket. Is this worthwhile on a...

My 2004 3.8L T&C transmission gave up last Saturday after 182000 miles on it. I can't complain it for poor quality! During last 12 months I have got numerous times P0700, P0740 and P0306 codes. My estimation is that we got around 12000 miles after the first transmission related code. I have...

I have a 2000 Chrysler G. Voyager with a 3.3. The steering pump is leaking. If I replace the pump, I have to get a special tool to swap out the pulley to the new pump. If I do a rebuild, I'm guessing I have to remove the pulley to install the new seals. Anyone have experience with this?

Hello. I have a 1995 Chrysler Grand Voyager that just had its transmission rebuilt. When driving, the gear shifts smooth and seamlessly, however, when slowing down to a red light, I can feel a bump in the tranny. It happens just before I'm about to totally stop. Sometimes it's very subtle, and...

I am rebuilding a front brake caliper on my 2000 Grand Voyager (165,000 miles) using a kit from RockAuto. Is there anything I need to know going in? I've been told that it's not worth it and to just buy the caliper already rebuilt because you have to hone the cylinder, etc. etc. Also, is it...
