Bought the van used 12 months ago and had the ABS light on, just recently got the code scanned and it's a bad left front sensor along with the above code. Checked the wiring underneath the fusebox and the wire's not corroded like many others', though I noticed the trim above my LF wheel is dented a fair bit so I'm guessing the previous driver had a minor collision that upset the sensor and the ABS module itself.

Any tips for the motor circuit? Is the ABS module something I can reliably scrap off of a junkyard car? Really would like to avoid spending $ at a mechanic's if possible. Thanks.

I'd do the key dance to read the code. THEN, before I rolled out Buff's "Parts Canon" I might even swap the sensor from the right side to the left side. OR unplug them one at a time to determine by elimination one by one to ensure that I know which sensor is really the fault.

THEN I might try the left sensor on the RH side (if they are interchangeable) just to prove that the sensor repacement is going to fix it. (If you can swap sensor from left to right and the fault follows the sensor then you are pretty sure you have nailed it in diagnosis) (That is what I did on my 2002 rear sensors and then I put the good one back and replaced the dead one Amazon) Less than $25...

I went to salvage today and the guy charged me $8 for a used side door mirror when I could have gotten a new mirror Amazon/eBay for $9.99 delivered.... You Pull is not GREAT deal anymore. Greedy for something that will be shred and crushed.

No, Key dance does not reveal ABS codes, at least I don't believe so today... Advanced Auto Parts by me has a better scanner and it has revealed ABS codes for me.

The OBD code (on board diagnostics) doesn't necessarily tell us how to fix the vehicle, it provides hints. So yes, perhaps, perhaps the wheel sensor is causing a general fault in the ABS motor.
When posting codes, please post the Pxxx numbers so that we can help make determinations and help with diagnosis.

The point I was trying to make above (and here too) is that following those codes and just starting to 'shot gun' replace components can get expensive AND now you have a bunch of stuff that has changed and has been changed.
Follow the OBDII hints and then think of a way to prove/disprove a prospective part replacement and if/when it repairs your fault, prove that it was actually the repair you think it appears to be.

INOVA 5210 was the last scanner I used at Advanced Auto to scan ABS codes.
(I found the picture on my iPhone, I take a snap of the codes so I don't make (as many) mistakes)

On some vehicles sensors aren't interchangeable, don't know if you can do it on our vehicles.

It might be cheaper to find a good shop with a good scanner that can read sensors.

Throwing parts left and right might not be the best option.

Here are the specific codes the reader gave when I went to O’Reilly’s, the only place in a five mile radius with a scanner that reads ABS apparently.

Start with the sensor. Check connector, it might be loose or even disconnected.

While I was there, I would have cleared the codes after taking the pictures. Then drove around the block to see if it came back and if so, what codes. Then ask them how much for a sensor as I was returning the reader.

In the mean time, when ABS light is on, you only have normal, regular brakes. As you have figured out, it brakes just fine on dry, non slippery pavement.

It is probably a sensor.
But does it need a new one of just to be removed, inspected, maybe cleaned and then reinstalled?
Also inspect the tone ring on the driveshaft. We've heard tell of it cracking and then the sensor may not read it.
