Been noticing my truck acting up when it rains hard. Typically the dashboard starts randomly lighting up indicators, the overhead display starts blinking on/off and radio stops working. Last time I was caught in the rain my wipers, head and taillights quit working. I pulled into a gas station, disconnected and reconnected the battery and everything was back and held up for the 20 minute drive home.

Obviously something is getting wet, I just don't know where to begin with something like this.

Sounds like some sort of grounding issue with how many different symptoms you’re getting. How crusty is the underside? I don’t know the locations of the grounds on your truck but it’s worthwhile to investigate for corrosion.

Make sure your battery terminals are clean, connectors are clamped firmly, and that the wiring to the clamp is of solid, non corroded wiring too.
