2007 Airbag Light intermittent, 'Passenger side squib #1 circuit open' code

This is what caused air bag light on my 06 DGC:

Look at the pictures, the sensor was not properly wired, it was an accident waiting to happen!

Both wires were damaged, one was touching the frame and the other was very close to touch the frame too!

I believe the dog did hit both wires and pushed them against the frame, one got cut and the other one was close to being cut. Had those two wires touch the frame at the same time, I believe the airbags would deploy!

If this sensor works as I think it does (just as a switch), as soon as the other wire touches the frame the airbags would deploy, that could happen any time while driving on the highway.

Anyways, the wires were repaired, the airbag light is not longer on, I'm happy!
