People say they are. My experience isn't accurate because my "teardrop" headlight is hazy. I swapped one onto my passenger side of my 2004 after hitting a deer, and my aftermarket old style headlight with aftermarket bulb is clear and brighter. So, not a good comparison.

You need to swap the headlight bulb plug (marker bulb plug is the same) to install the headlight. The headlights share the same mounting points. May want to swap to the T&C bumper cover with the cutouts for the teardrop headlights, but don't necessarily have to. I saw one van where they didn't.

^^Good point. Keep an eye on the style of fog lights you have, if you do swap bumper covers. They did change from early 4th gen to later 4th gen, and Grand Caravan and Town & Country use different shaped fog lights. If you swap the bumper cover to Chrysler, the Caravan fog lights may not fit at all.

Are the 2007 lights any better then the 2005?
They are identical aside from Dodge and SWB Chryslers VS. LWB Chryslers... (the LWB C's changed to 'teardrop' in '05)

2005 caravan to town and country front end --- What do I need?
Light housings, bulbs, connectors, front facia, grill, misc clips and fasteners that will break in the process...
and a good excuse to give to the cop who stops you and asks why it says Dodge on your registration when you're driving a Chrysler.

This is a 2001 that had the old style headlights 2001-2007 Dodge Caravan, Grand Caravan. The new style "teardrop" headlights from long wheelbase 2005-2007 Chrysler Town & Country were installed without changing over the bumper cover, so it CAN be done.

That is correct for any headlight you swap in, so I thought it was a given. The way the headlights are "hung" and mount, this would offer more support. They often break one or more of the mounts and hang down anyway - at least mine do! 😂

A darn good reason to do it. That looks like dam (d a m) but it isn't. :)

I prefer the Caravan headlights over the 2005+ Town & Country lights. I've driven both regularly on nightly basis for years.
The Caravan headlights have a much a wider pattern on both low and high beam and do a good job of lighting up the sides of the road here in deer country. The TC lights have a substantially narrower pattern but have more down road reach on high beam. My plan for my TC is to mount a set of Caravan lights with a relay kit and add a set of small driving lights to add little punch to the high beam performance.
