Please help me out with my new van. On my test drive I said it feels like it needs alignment, it was booked in right after I bought it. Alignment was fixed and a bit better, but i still felt the pull. Left and right with no rhym or reason. Alignment was fixed agian. And every 2 to 3 months since. 2 different dealers and still it is not fixed. I have contacted fca and I have an appt for a 3rd dealer to see if they can figure it out.
They have checked everything to do with alignment and I feel it's the steering. Or a communication error.
It wanders or darts left or right or both when going straight on nice alberta roads at 80km to 100km it is most noticeable. Until it gets worse by end if month 2 then it is noticeable almost always. It is a struggle to correct the vehicle back to straight and I have now noticed my turns are getting jerky. 1 friend has said it has no center point. Another has described it as if the car was being moved by the front end without the steering wheel moving.

The van has been to the shop 7 times for this issue and has been worked on for a week or more at a time while they try to figure it out. And then I get passed on to another dealer when they belive they have fixed it and cannot recreat what I'm saying it is doing. So I wait a month or 2 and then it's so bad I have to get back in for alignment, a short time fix to the issue.

Any advice to help figure this out would be much appreciated.

Ps the 2 dealers have checked everything and anything to do with alignment. They don't take it for proper test drives after to see if they have fixed it. The van seems to need to be driven for 10 to 20 min before acting possessed.

My screen also glitches. And I had strange issue with back latch they couldn't diagnose till I drove there with it open unable to close it. It also has a clunk sound every now and then when starting off.

They let me drive the same van 1 year newer for over a week while they worked on mine and it drove straight with no issues.

Finally a dealership is going to replace the steering rack Tuesday. I'll post the results incase anyone else ever gets this crazy issue.
