Hello everyone!
I have a 2000 Grand Caravan Sport AWD that I bought for parts to keep my 99 Voyager SE going (235k and counting).

It has 154k on it and looks to have been well-maintained. The trans fluid is a nice healthy pink.
I'm keeping the 3.8 and some other interior and electrical parts, but I don't need the rest of the drivetrain so all the AWD parts are available.
Transaxle, driveshafts, differential, the whole rear axle assembly - it's all been pulled and needs a good home.

I hate to see parts like these get scrapped, so I figured this is the best place to find folks who appreciate them!
It's located in Tompkinsville KY and I wouldn't know how to ship stuff this size, so hopefully there is someone close enough to pick them up.

Make me an offer!

It also has a Sport fascia with foglamps and other bits that you may be interested in.

Thanks for the ad, and I look forward to 'meeting' you!

Hi Joe: Can you see a part number on that drive shaft
that connects to the back. Thanks! -k-

I live too far and I'm no mechanic away.
However, I would gladly offer $100.
for that drive shaft - 4660369AB. If you can't sell
it locally maybe you could find a box for it at an
auto parts shop, perhaps one you frequent so they
might not charge you for it, and ship it to me.
That's if you can get off that van safely.

Mine still works but we're slowly replacing the
the other parts locally but can't find this drive shaft.
Not sure how much it weighs but I've seen similar
ship for $75-$85.00. which I would pay for.

And my mechanic isn't too keen on replacing mine
with a used one but I'm not seeing any new ones
out there.

Your thoughts Joe.

That's the kind of 'good home' I hope to find for all of these parts
Do you need the rear section also?

I can try to figure out a way to ship it safely.
I'll let you know what I come up with.

Hi Joe,

Would it be possible to see some photos of the driveshaft centre support bearing? Not keen on pulling mine but I want to figure out if any aftermarket parts can interchange with it (since the 4th gen folks have found that theirs can be interchanged with a BMW part).

Thanks

I'll see what I can do for you.
Everything from the center bearing aft is still in the van since I needed to roll it out of the garage.
I'll get some shots in situ and then more once it's out.
It might take me a couple days to get back to it, so please be patient and I will provide!

It’s seems with all my enthusiasm I’ve jumped the gun.
My wife isn’t interested in proceeding but I’ll chat with
the mechanic again this week. Little egg on my face so
I’m very sorry about that. But we will be discussing it
here at length.

Some sites doesn't allow new members to buy/sell until they meet certain criteria.

Think that is a good practice.

What is a good home anyways?

When I sell, all I want is to get rid of whatever I'm selling. Buyer can do whatever he wants with it.

Some sites do not allow. "Doesn't" is an abbreviation for "does not"; which would not apply in this case.
Also, no need to pluralize anyway.

"Good Home" was just my way of being complimentary, not a judgment. I'll sell parts to anyone, obviously, but I came here to find people who would likely be interested in what I have to sell.
As an owner and not a 'scrapper' or business, I'm interested in keeping my van going for along time and it's nice to know there are others who feel similarly. If I happen to have some extra parts that are getting hard to find, why wouldn't I make them available?
I know that I would appreciate finding just what I needed from a community of like-minded individuals. That's why I joined this forum. I'm on another forum at slantsix.org (with the same username) because the slant six is another of my interests and there are plenty of great people in that forum.
I'm hoping this one turns out to be the same.

Kyo, no need to apologize. Just let me know how it goes and I'll help you if I can.

No problem, take your time. I'm just trying to help the community and I'm in no rush :)
