I have a pair of halogen headlight assemblies from my 2014 Grand caravan, they come complete with all working bulbs. These were removed as an replaced them with HID assemblies.

At first I wanted to ask about the lens. Are they just a bit dirty or something or are there specks or something on them aka what's the condition of the lens? And from the pictures it seems that nothing's broken and everything is intact. Is that correct?Nope, but really not trying as hard as I should.. make an offer if you are interested
yeah they are dirty. I took them off to swap for HIDs and did not clean them prior to pictures. Yes as far as I could tell nothing is broken and they are intact. At first I wanted to ask about the lens. If everything's intact and the lens are in great shape, not hazy and damaged then then next question would be if you would be able to pack them in well enough so that they could survive a trip to Europe? And what would the shipping cost be in that case (USPS)? It might be easier for you to sell them in the US for less hassle though. On the other hand the US is big as well and they might have to take a long trip either way.yeah they are dirty. I took them off to swap for HIDs and did not clean them prior to pictures. Ok. There’s no hurry.I have them boxed but let me get them, open them and clean them for a couple better pictures. I have them wrapped in bubble wrap and packaged well. With the pictures of them cleaned you can make a better decision. Give me a couple days for that
I see what you're saying. The driver side light appears to have a lot of specks in it. That's just light scratching from dirt and road debris blowing by it. He said they were used for 60k, so that's not bad condition at all for that usage. At first I wanted to ask about the lens. Have you regretted that yet? HID was the worst "upgrade" I ever did. These were removed as an replaced them with HID assemblies.
Actually no, my wife has trouble seeing at night and these are an improvement over the halogens.Have you regretted that yet? HID was the worst "upgrade" I ever did.
Some halogens are whiter and light further as well (Osram nightbreaker or something like that). Have you tried those? The common halogens are pretty yellow.I previously had LEDs in my halogen housings. It was like daylight with weird shadows.I have issues with night vision at times. I wear contacts and they will randomly fog up on me, either from drying up or some goo in my eye sticking to them. No big deal in daylight, but a problem at night.
All that said, HID is significantly less bright than the LEDs I had before. But maybe if I had went from stock halogens to HID, instead of using LEDs in between, it would have been an upgrade. Just not one that fully satisfies my needs.
Yes in that case I agree, the HIDs are better but not as great as the HIDs on my other car..I previously had LEDs in my halogen housings. Nah, still running the HIDs, just with LED fogs. One day I'll clear my lenses on my halogens and go back to using them. Might even open them up and put a little amber LED magic in there. Some halogens are whiter and light further as well (Osram nightbreaker or something like that). Have you tried those?
