Air Conditioning delete on 2nd gen with 3.8?

So I recently purchased a used 1994 Plymouth Grand Voyager with the 3.8L V6. It has a bad AC condenser that sounds awful and I don't really want to put a lot of money into this car. So I'm looking for an alternative to paying $300 for a replacement condenser.

I was able to find an air conditioning condenser bypass pulley made by Doorman for around $36 for it, but I would like a cheaper option if possible.

Is anyone aware of a shorter serpentine belt(number please) that would work so that I could just skip the condenser pulley all together?

Thanks in advance,

The part connected to the belt is the compressor, not the condensor. There is a magnetic clutch on it that has "on" and "off" positions. If the compressor makes noise in the "on" position but not the "off" position, you can disconnect the wire and it will then be only "off" and silent. If it makes noise in the "off" position, then the clutch is defective, not the compressor. The clutch should be a lot cheaper than the compressor.

Oops. Slip of the tongue on that one. Compressor is what I meant to say.

Welcome to the site fellow 1994 Grand driver. How many miles on your van? I still have the OE compressor on mine.
Does the AC pulley have a grinding noise anytime the engine is running or only when the AC is on?
Both Gates and Dayco show a belt for a 94 3.3L without AC but the routing diagrams still show the belt running around a pulley in the AC area.

I have NEVER seen a 3.3 or 3.8L van without AC to be able to tell you what it should look like . I have seen 4 Cylinders without AC, come to think of it never a 3.0L with out it either?
The van has 230,000 miles on it. The compressor makes a loud squealing noise all the time even when the A/C is turned off. It eventually gets a little quieter once the van warms up and it turns out that WD-40 makes it WAAYYY worse.

Also, while looking at the diagram below I noticed that the A/C pulley is right above the water pump pulley. If I use a shorter belt and skip the A/C pulley it'll turn the water pump the other way.

It looks like the problem is the clutch which is more expensive than the bypass pulley. And I don't really need the A/C anyways, so looks like I'm going to go with that bypass pulley: DORMAN Part # 34216.

Thanks for the insight and welcoming me to the forum.
