1.70 amp drain.
Everything works except one door door lock. Been like that for years.

Disconnected;
Door harnesses
Radio
Alternator
Hood switch
Etc.

Still have 1 amp draw.
Leaving IOD fuse out .04 draw.
But lose radio, remote, and some other things.

Where else might I check. Hope it's not BCM (Body Control Module).

Been reading a lot here but in my case everything works save one door actuator.
No blown fuses, or failures.
??
Thanks, Kit

It might be better to troubleshoot the parasitic drain by measuring across each fuse to identify which circuit is actually 'staying on'.

This vid shows the how-to. You don't need that special tester the Wizard mentions...he DOES show how to check without it.

Will watch video.

Method does not help as the draw in question is somewhere in IOD circuit. Not all on IOD have individual fuses.

Thinking of adding a relay that energizes IOD circuit when ignition is on. I'll get my radio& clock back plus other things.
Key fob still won't work till ign on. No big deal.

I put an incandescent lamp with wires attached in place of the fuse. When the draw is happening, the lamp will be bright. When the draw is gone the lamp goes out or is dim. This lets you see the effect of disconnecting components and harness connectors to isolate the problem. Do you have a wiring diagram? Really hard to diagnose without one.
