I have 312k on my 00 3.3 everything original but the water pump and alternator. Even the axles are original..... I've never even had a check engine light come on. Oh wait I did have the clock spring issue but that was an easy fix.
Not sure if people think I meant kilometers or miles. I put the k after the miles to indicate thousands...so it is US 312 thousand miles..sorry I had a couple of people message me about it...I'm goin for 500k miles....dont know if I can hit that, the trans has never been flushed or filter changed or anything, at this point I really dont want to rock the boat!
I did add half a quart of ATF4 yesterday when all of the shift indicators lit up at once. I heard that they are usually low. That was the first time I had added fluid, in well **** I cant remember when was the last time. At least over 2 years ago! While my motor and trans are very dirty, greasy, and oily. It doesnt leave any drips or puddles anywhere. This week she will turn 313k mi. Every thousand I hit now seems like a birthday for her LOL. I am getting totally paranoid that something is going to give. But she still runs 80mph everyday all day and does it smoothly and quietly. Only problem I have is when it is cold it starts very quickly, but after it warms up, I have to turn it over for about 5 seconds before it will start to sputter and start, then it stumbles for a few seconds and clears up. I have this topic in another post, and have gotten alot of good advice, but I still have not been able to correct it.
