Hey All,

I have 2005 Town and Country 3.8.

The brake lights are not working. I have checked fuses, bulbs (replaced one) and I have replaced the Brake Light Switch under the brake pedal. Still now brake lights… The dealer wants $100 to tell me what’s wrong so is there anything else I can try?

Thanks for any help, Merry Christmas.

I would check the fuse again just to be sure, but other than that I would check for power at the switch. Sounds like the wiring somewhere has issues.

Start by seeing if you have power at the sockets. If you do, clean the contacts for the sockets. If you don't, time to start tracking down wiring. If you have trailer light wiring, start there.

Okay, new info.
I can consistently duplicate this: Brake lights work, drive a few minutes and they stop working, put my foot under the brake and pull the pedal toward me and then hit the brake again and now the lights work.
Ideas?
Thanks!

The switch has a problem if messing with the pedal can determine if it works or not.

Re-align and re-adjust the brake pedal switch. That seems to be your issue.
