Electric door locks.

I have recently purchased another 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan SE.
I noticed when I used the key fob the doors will unlock but they will not lock. I tried the door locks in the doors with the same results I've been checking everything I can think of does anybody have a solution they found?
I did a computer reboot by disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes but that didn't help. Will check fuses and relays next.

From the owners manual;
The automatic door locks can be enabled or disabled by performing the following procedure, Number one, close all doors and place the key in the ignition switch, cycle the ignition switch on/ off four times ending in the off position, do not start the engine. Within 10 seconds of the final cycle press the interior driver's door lock switch to the lock position, a single chime will sound to signify that you have successfully completed the programming. You can turn the feature back on by repeating the above mentioned procedure.

This did not help my problem but it's good to know.
There are several sensors that have to be closed for the doors to lock.
One of them being the key must not be in the ignition, The front doors must be closed etc, etc.

If you don't see door ajar indicator on dash, check "key-in" sense switch. If your chime is working, test to see if it chimes when you open driver's door and stops when you take the key out. I'd still verify that switch, it's resistance MUX, so check that it's in correct range...
Alright! I finally got the brakes fixed, it was the ABS unit so I replaced it with a salvage unit.

Now, back to the door locks.
I switched out the body control module with a known good one from my other mini vans, it didn't help.
I checked all of the fuses and relays, they were all okay.
I've gone over the wiring diagrams looking for anything that would effect all of the door lock controls.
There are no child proof controls that I can find.
So I am at a standstill at the moment and searching for more ideas to try.
Oh, I also checked the "door ajar" switches and the key in the ignition ringer/dinger.
Lock actuator use the same 2 wires for lock and unlock, so it's BCM logic that's preventing it...

Well this is what I thought. I may be mistaken but isn't the BCM mounted on the front of the fuse box? It's about an inch thick and 3-1/2"x 6" rectangle (guessing, I didn't measure it). Anyway, I swapped it out with my other 2002 Grand Caravan and it made no difference.
Or am I missing something? Could it be the remote keyless intry module and where is it?

That's FCM (Front Control Mod)

BCM is mounted on the firewall under steering wheel, above and slightly left of brake pedal.
Oh ho. Ok then I'll check it out when I get a chance. By the way, the doors don't lock above 20 mph like their supposed to either.
Thanks for telling me where the BCM is located.
Oh my, I hope it's a programming thing because I'll never be able to get under there and get at that. All the wires and everything else going into it and you can't even get your hand up in there.
The lower plastic and "knee blocker" airbag come out to get better access to BCM connectors... (make sure to disconnect battery and drain residual charge - airbags inflators can explode)

Automatic locks may be disabled in programming or may be inhibited / prevented by the same 'trigger' as regular door lock switches.

Did you test and verify the driver's and passenger's door lock switches are sending correct MUX value to BCM? (since IIRC you said to tried to program door locks and didn't get a chime when pressing the switch?)

I'll have to recheck when I get the car back My daughter has it right now and I can't remember whether I tested that and got a chime or not.
