On 09-09-2012 I posted a story on Engine Over Heating:

Now, for the rest of the story.

I turns out that Chrysler has packaged the heater hoses on the 2008 T&C and perhaps later models. I have attached a PDF of the illustrated parts breakdown from Chrysler.

You will note that all of the hoses for the front and under seat heaters are in one assembly and if one part fails, you must buy the whole package. Why this is unclear, but that the way it is.

My parts guy says he keeps six of this in stock at all times so I conclude that this is a frequent problem and this assembly is used on a lot of Chrysler models

In some earlier posts, there have been complaints about the “Y” connection failing or mysterious leak problems.

It would appear that this problem might be solved with the installation of package as it is clear that the “Y” fitting is not a replaceable part.

Some have just replaced the "Y" fitting with a "T" fitting and added screw clamps. One found an aftermarket "Y" fitting (just the fitting) but didn't say where.
