I recently purchased a 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan Mainstreet, I've only had the van a couple of days and so far I'm not disappointed really. However, the van did overheat on me yesterday. The hose came off the heater core up front cause some clown didn't put the hose clamp on right. Plus the connector for the rear heater core was bad and leaking. I'll be getting that fixed next week, right now the hoses are blocked off. But if I had one thing to complain about is that the backup camera doesn't work. I get a message saying to check my surroundings, but nothing shows up on the display. I checked and even replaced the fuse. The camera is self is clean, so not sure what is going on.

Some proficiency with testing the hardware is needed here.
Is the camera unit working? Plugged in? Is its wiring plugged in?
Does the wiring go through a hinge and is it broken by flexing?
Are there short leaded cameras you can plug in for testing purposes? (plug directly into the center unit)
