I tried searching for " EGR " and it says : 'Search Results' ------------ BUT NOTHING ... IN GEN 2 group !

I can't believe NO EGR info in forum.

My 1995 3.3 has a CODE 32 and I have to crank and crank to get it started.
Once started it runs fine.

Seems kind of hard to get at to see if its working - EGR valve. John

I just tried and got lots of results. 4 pages worth
Are you using the correct one?
It is the one to the right of forum tools, not the one up above.

EGR should not cause excessive cranking to start; that sounds like a fuel pressure problem.

EGR valve transducer is black plastic and is under the intake plenum throttle body runner. Since it's so hot under there, problems can occur. My mom had a 94 that had melted the bottom of that part open, rendering the EGR inoperable and creating a vacuum leak. Replaced the transducer and it was fixed. It would backfire/buck randomly while cruising.
