I have an issue on my 2014 town and country front HVAC blower fan when I start the engine the front Fan is not responding on any control settings I set, but the rear fan is responding normal.

The front blower fan will run in low speed for 2 minutes then it will be back to normal in your desired setting.

This only happen when I first start the engine in the morning and if the engine is off for more than 10 minutes.

Anyone have the same issue?

Automatic temperature control?

In air conditioning mode? Check your Owner Manual as to delay in fan speed until system is energized.

yes my HVAC is ATC. just check the owner manual and you can overwrite the low automatic speed by turning the knob left or right to turn off the automatic mode, the rear blower is the only one responding when i turn the knob. the front is still in low speed for two minutes and then it will function normally.
i owned the van for 4 years now and this is the first time it happen this way.

I am experiencing the exact same thing with my 2014. Changed the blower motor and the blower resistor and still have the same problems. It starts out on a lowest possible speed then starts working after several minutes. I was thinking it may be a bad ground but its impossible to find a good wiring diagram. It does sound like some kind of controls because every once in a while it would come on and then go off again quickly. Is it looking for some kind of pressure/temp/other setting from the HVAC system?

Try disconnecting one side of the battery and touch both cables together, that might help.

Have you guys changed the cabin filter? If not, then it is about time. Behind the glove compartment.

I did change the cabin air filter. It had been changed in the last couple of years too. I have not taken it to the dealership yet. It seems like I can’t find any good information on the sequence for the ATC to initiate so I may just have to do that.

Every 30 seconds or so, the blower motor will blast on for a split second, then nothing again. It will continue like this for 3 or 4 minutes, then the blower will finally come on for good and everything is back to normal, all controls work like they should. I have first replaced the blower motor resistor, no luck. Then replaced the whole blower motor itself, still no luck! What in the world is causing this in the initial stages of the HVAC system after starting the van??!!

My 2014 is doing EXACTLY the same thing! Start the engine, the back blower kicks on and blows hard, but the front blower does nothing. You can feel the cool air in front of the vents, but the air is not moving/blowing out of the vents. Try to adjust the fan speed knob, but nothing happens. Hi Tyedyed1,
We understand why this may be concerning. We suggest having your dealer inspect this concern if you have not done so already. We are also available via private message if you would like any additional assistance during that process.

Did anyone have a solution or clue to this?

I'm dealing with exactly the same issue, 2014 T&C. I've been back-and-forth to CarMax (we have an additional warranty on the van) and the Dodge dealer since last August with no luck - mostly all of the front blower components have been replaced with no luck. Thanks!

Just picked it up from the dealer. The result of this half-year mystery...

"INLET HOUSING DOOR GEAR BROKEN, SO THE SYSTEM WILL NOT WORK UNTIL CALIBRATION TEST PASSES. REMOVE AND REPLACE THE INSTRUMENT PANEL AND HVAC HOUSING. REPLACE THE INLET HOUSING ASSY. EVACUATE AND RECHARGE AC SYSTEM."

Parts: $68.00 (68029737-AB for my 2014 T&C)
Labor: $1404.00

It worked fine on the way back from the dealer, I'll drop a note if anything changes. For the adventurous, it's a pretty easy part to come by, tascaparts.com/oem-parts/mopar-air-inlet-case-68029737ab
