I have a 2015 T&C and I need to disconnect this fuel pump module electrical connector for a repair. I'm hoping someone can tell me just where this connector is:

I've looked around underneath (I believe that's underneath) but I'm just not seeing it. Does anyone know where this is or how it's oriented?

TIA

Why do you need the fuel pump connector off? I haven't done a pump on these, but usually the connector is above the tank and hard to reach without at least partially dropping the tank. If you just need to cut fuel pressure, remove the fuel pump fuse and crank until it won't start anymore.

Relieving fuel system pressure according to the FSM, but never mind, I found it. From the picture I thought it was mounted to a side rail, but it's a cross member behind the tank. Came off one-two-three and after only one start pressure was gone.

I'm blind sometimes.

Thanks for replying.

Where is it (general vicinity)? I'd like to know.
Is it inside the car, under the carpet?

It's underneath the car, behind the gas tank, mounted to the underside. It's just a 4-pin electrical connector, easy to disconnect. Doing so, then running the engine as many times as necessary (until it doesn't start) relieves fuel system pressure, which allowed me to remove the fuel manifold bars without getting sprayed by gas under pressure (I had an injector to replace).

I just pull the fuse for the fuel pump, saves poking around and disturbing things under there.

I did that, but it never started and I suspected it never bled off pressure. I put the fuse back in, disconnected the connector in back, and got one good start. After that it never did and all my fuel pressure was gone. It seems like pulling that fuse would accomplish the same thing, but for some reason it didn't.

I love different ways to do things. Thanks to all.

I just let the car sit and wait 24 hours, then disconnect fuel line with a cup or and a rag. I bit messier. Breaking the brittle connector, when taking it apart would be a bummer-- is it one of those "push this tab then press that" connectors (I hate those things)?

You unlock the red tab by pushing it sideways and then push in the catching tab while pulling the connector apart. It came apart easily. I was surprised at how clean everything was even after 122K on the car. Nonetheless, I put a smear of silicone (dialectric) grease on the halves before putting it back together. I suspect I'm going to have to do this again as the injectors go bad one by one (or have to for some other reason).
