2008 T&C
Bought van last August with 37000 miles and I'm surprised at mileage I'm getting. Took to Florida with family and all our stuff so it was loaded but still only stopped for gas and kept at 70 mph and best I got was 22mpg. Back home I get around 20 mpg tooling around town and back and forth to work which is highway. I got better mileage with my 2000 Montana. Is this normal for 2008 T&C or should I investigate or sell :)

I have 2009 town and country with 3.3L and I get 16.5 mpg in the city. Even if I really baby it and make sure I coast to a stop as much as possible 17 is max in town. 20-21 at 70mph is normal. Put in E85 and it goes down to about 8-10mpg in city.

Just made a round trip from Greenville SC (1000' elevation) to Edisto Island SC (7' el.), about 235 miles each way. 2014 GC-AVP. 4 people and the back full of stuff, never going less than the speed limit (usually limit +5). Trip down: 28.4 mpg.
Trip back: first 45 miles of flat highway, 45-60 mph, 30.4 mpg.
First 135 miles including modest hills, 70+ mph, 29.1 mpg.
Whole return trip including 100 miles of up and down requiring some lower gears: 28.6 mpg
Total trip including some tootling around Edisto, 477 miles, 28.5 mpg.
Way better than I expected.

I'm a pretty soft foot driver slow and steady take off and don't brake hard, ect. I have been averaging 23-24 combined on my '14. It's winter now and is below zero F, so I don't even bother checking. My '09 averaged 14 in the winter and I don't expect this one to do any better.

Those are great numbers. Are they off of the EVIC or are these done with pen and paper (calculator)?
I did a 380+ mile highway run last weekend with little regard for the speed limit and got 26.3. I have had it over 30 mpg in the summer months when fully loaded.

When I check my mileage manually vs the EVIC, it can be spot on or it can be as much as 2 MPG high or low at times and thats even when I have reset it after each fill up.
