Check your engine coolant level, it might be low.

Note:

Check coolant level at radiator filling neck, not at overflow reservoir.

This has happened to me once, ice cold air despite knobs fully rotated into red. I just tuned knobs back to cold, then back to hot, heat started working

am I just looking to see if there is coolant in there? or is there a specific lever indicatopr inside?

Just make sure it has some. And definitely try Sunvanse's suggestion as it sounds likely that the blend door is not getting set properly.

If you can not see the coolant level, with the radiator cap off, allow the engine to warm up and just add some until you can see it.

If you have to add more than half gallon, then you have a coolant leak somewhere.

Hi bryman,
I was unable to find any TSBs that might address your concern. Keep us posted on whether the above suggestions are able to resolve the heating issue. Let me know if there's anything I can do to be of assistance!
