I got a check engine light for the code P0480 my radiator fan is not turning on at all the fan spins easily with my hand. car is relying on the ac fan to cool off but it doesn't help Obviously. car starts heating up when idle. temp is normal when driving. I need help on what to do to fix this issue. is it the fuse? or relay etc? I don't know and I need details of how to get the relay or fuse to get this fan turning on.

Image says relay, but it's actually the fan resistor.

In the winter, as long as you are not sitting idle for too long, forward motion and using the front and back heaters may be all you need.

You won't find one of those on a 5th Generation though.

Well, the pic is from a 3rd or 4th gen. 5ths have one but it looks different.

Update: The radiator fan blows the fuse I don't know where to go from there.

Either the above resistor is shorted, or the fan. Does the fan smell like burnt plastic?
