[Canon Ball]

I have a 2002 Caravan and after charging the A/C over a couple of weeks the driver side vents started blowing hot air. The passenger side and rear A/C work. The passenger side is not completely cold but much colder than the drivers side. I have checked the mix doors and they look to be working fine. I did a little research and someone suggested that the expansion valve could cause this. Any Ideas? Thanks for any help.

I've seen complaints about the blend door shaft causing uneven heating and cooling. Chrysler has a new designed shaft to fix the problem. I've also seen a TSB (24-002-02 dated 14 Jan 01)for the same. It involves replacing the expansion valve, evaporator, and drier. I have read on occassion reserviicing the system fixes the same.

Thanks. I'll look into the door shaft first. I'm new to this vehicle, I know where the blend motors are, can you lead me to the one with the shaft you're referring to.
