Hi,
I just purchased a new 2013 T/C Touring. It has 2 USB ports - one in the radio and one in the glove box. So far I have been able to play music from my phone (Samsung S3) through the bluetooth and via the AUX cable. However, I would also like to play movies I have on my phone (purchased through google play store) through the USB. I have tried playing a movie through bluetooth and the USB, but neither works (although I do get audio from the movie through the bluetooth). Does anyone know of a way to do this??
Thanks,
Lisa

An Apple store, or even monoprice.com should have one for you.

Thanks guys, I have both an iPhone 5 and iPad 4th gen so i'm stuck with lighting and all digital with no analog output. Looks like I can buy the digital adapter and a converter but that's probably too much work. I'll stick to dvd's and Bluetooth for audio at this point.
You can read more about the digital out and converter here - http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1458862

http://store.apple.com/us/product/M...v-cable?fnode=45&fs=f=iphone4s&fh=35df%2B2af4

But as UN4GTBL mentioned, may be able to find cheaper at other places (jsut read reviews, make sure no rash of complaint that it doesn't work).. Note it's not for the 5's.

I have one of those in my Caliber, and I plugged it into my LockPick adapter, and the USB plug into a USB power adapter that I wired into the car, and now passengers can plug & charge their iPods in my car. Leaving the radio screen free to display the GPS in full.

If you can stream the movie you bought from the phone to your computer, then it would be easier to transfer them to a USB. And you can follow this topic to do this: https://forums.androidcentral.com/s...er-video-samsung-galaxy-s3-my-computer-2.html I just followed this method to do this. Also, I always play some movies on my car via USB. And these movies are converted from DVDs. I just followed this guide to do this: http://www.videoconverterfactory.com/tips/dvd-to-usb.html If you need this, you can have a check.
