As the title suggests, I'm trying to replace the passenger side rear vent/quarter window. My wife had a run-in with auto-start, power locks and an infant in the car. For van vs. car you can bet on my wife anytime. She yanked that window right out, breaking the regulator motor and shattering the glass in the process.
SO I have new (used) glass with the metal "hinge" already on it and a motor in the mail. I see plenty of tutorials on replacing the motor but none on the window hinge other than "remove interior trim." Sure, any orangutan could remove the trim but I want to be able to put it back in afterward, is that too much to ask?
I can get the trim piece beneath it popped out without a problem and the bottom part of the piece itself, but at the top near the ceiling there's something catching it. I can see behind it a little bit and the plastic is getting near tearing instead of breaking loose. Anyone have some advice or gotten to take one apart in a junkyard?
It might be worth mentioning here that I have the removable chairs that spin, not the stow-n-go.
Thanks, all!
