LED turn signal question

I am wanting to swap my brake/turn signal light in the rear for an led light for longer life but from my understanding this would cause hyperflashing of the rear turn signal. It seems many things recommend a load resistor but im wandering if there is another option to avoid the hyperflash issue. I believe I have read that this vehicle doesn't use a flasher either?

Edit: I should probably add this is an 05 town and country touring 3.8l

Do you know that from experience? The hyperflash is a deliberate function that lets you know a turn signal is burnt out. LEDs don't present the load that an incandescent bulb does, and should cause hyperflash on any corner of the vehicle. That said, I don't have the experience on 4th gens.

So update, I switched the light out and the issue is (incandescent bulb) it lights up for the runner light but not the brakes or turn signal and front still flashes fast like the rear bulb is out. I'm guessing this is the switch in the lever that controls all the signals except its not doing all the crazy stuff others have mentioned for that? What do you guys think?

Well you'll be happy to know that I went with a regular bulb. But my dude, no need for attitude, the bulb was not working and needed replaced anyways. At least I did due diligence to find out that there may be issues if I used an led instead, I simply wanted to know if there was an easy way to make them work without the resistor junk. Got my answer and fixed my issue too.

The bulb sockets themselves have contacts where they attach/twist into the tail light housing. Sometimes the little copper or brass contacts get dirty/oxidized or bent and don't make contact. I'd check that first. If signal light in front is flashing, the turn signal switch is good.

Do you have aftermarket tail lamp assemblies with 1157 style bulbs? I can't understand how these would work on factory lamps using 3157 style bulbs considering the way their sockets attach. It would require stuffing the long leads and resistors inside the lamps. Or am I missing something?

Sorry, I did buy aftermarket tail assemblies. You are correct! My bad I forgot about the issue with the circuit board. The aftermarket tail assemblies I installed do not have a circuit board which the car side plug connects into. Instead they have a harness with separate wires for each bulb going into one plug which connects to the car. The presence of the harness makes it possible to use the Syneticusa LEDs. Hopefully, the pictures clears things up. My apologies for any confusion. Wow I completely forgot! [slaps forehead]. Those are Epic Lighting brand in case anyone wants to order them.
