Dodge said my master cylinder is leaking into brake booster, and wanting to charge 700+ for the two. Would the master cylinder leaking into booster cause it to fail, or could just replacing master cylinder work? Also is there any items that must be moved on an 2008 caravan to change out the booster? besides the battery.

Brake fluid leak into the brake buster not necessarily ruins the booster, but would be a good idea to replace it too.

If booster is good, it would still need to be removed to flush the brake fluid out of it (not funny).
