= Lots of descriptions and photos of used T&Cs show that 2nd row... not.... being stow and go on the Ltd. 2011 - 2013, but we understand that it was available. Can't imagine anyone not ordering that in their van, but I guess they did not do it. Am hearing that the Stow and Go seats are less than happy homes for the human spine?

=The dealer said that the cushy nice 2nd row of seats in the '11 we looked at negated Stow and Go capability. Apparently there was a choice of Stow and Go or comfy seats?
As stated by 1994 Sport, "luxury" 2nd row seats which do not Stow 'n Go could be ordered for the T&C.

The 2nd row Stow 'n Go seats are pretty thin, given that they're designed to fold into the floor. The thinness of these seats make them feel hard and uncomfortable for some people, especially on longer road trips.

= We are so confused, it is even difficult figure out how to ask about Stow and Go. What does Stow and Go mean in terms of rows that are Stow and Go? Is Stow and Go only the 3rd row ....making our search for the disappearing 2nd row of seats doomed?
Stow 'n Go can be had for both the 2nd and 3rd rows - this is its most common configuration.

=Stow and Go is around since 2005 we understand. Is STOW AND GO standard or an option? I see some vans with the Stow and Go logo on the side door window and some without the logo (and the disappearing seats I guess) so it appears to be an option you had to buy?
Currently, 2nd & 3rd row Stow 'n Go is standard across all T&C trim levels and every GC trim level excluding the base "Value Package". On the T&C, "luxury" non-folding 2nd row seats were an optional feature.

I've noticed that more recent vans (2014 and up) no longer have the Stow 'n Go logo on the sliding doors, despite being equipped with full 2nd & 3rd Stow 'n Go.

= If we search for a Ltd., does the Ltd. package guarantee Stow and Go for the 2nd row (Apparently not because the '11 Ltd we found and loved did ...not....have Stow and Go in the 2nd row)?

Does the Ltd guarantee the Stow and Go for the 3rd row?
Looking for a T&C Limited does not guarantee full Stow 'n Go, due to the aforementioned optional luxury non-folding seats which you've seen.

Every T&C and GC comes with 3rd row Stow 'n Go, regardless of trim level.

= Is Non-disappearing / Non Stow and Go in the---2nd row---- common or even unavoidable?
From what I've seen, it should be much easier to find a T&C with the full Stow 'n Go you desire.

I'd assume most 5th gen Grand Caravan and Town & Country minivans are equipped with full 2nd & 3rd row Stow 'n Go - the only two scenarios where 2nd row Stow 'n Go wouldn't be available on a 5th gen minivan is a base "Value Package" GC with a second row bench seat, or a T&C with the optional luxury non-folding seats.

Simply, we had our hearts set on a new (for us 2011- 2013 or 14) T&C with row 2 and row 3 stowing away to make life easy for hauling boat stuff back and forth. We assumed the marvelous Stow and Go ability for row 2 and row 3 would be in every Town and Country in generation 5...how could it not be we thought. But I guess it is not.......correct? We are finding Stow and Go for row 2 and row 3 a dizzyingly difficult thing to find.
Not every T&C will have full Stow 'n Go, given the availability of the luxury seat option, however Stow 'n Go is very common and hopefully you'll be able to find the T&C you want with full Stow 'n Go.
