(Before I go to the pick and pull.)

Any idea if Nivomat shocks from a 5th gen will fit a 4th gen (2005)? Non stow-and-go if that matters. And the leaf springs? Would they swap in as well?

I've seen that 3rd gen nivomats will fit with minor alterations. Hoping I have more options when I go to the yard.

Thanks

A 5th gen uses coil springs in the back.

The shock part numbers don't cross-ref. But I don't know how different they may be.

Ah. Ok. So not the springs.

Still curious about the shocks. I tried searching for their physical dimensions, and have come up empty so far.

Thanks

I found some specs on the KYB version of the Nivomats. Looks like the 5th gen version is 2" longer. I guess that makes it unlikely. Though seems like the compressed length/stroke is the more important bit. Which they don't list.

SR2010 (5th gen)
weight 9.35#
height 5.435"
length 25.715"
width 5.435"

SR2002 (4th gen)
weight 9.15#
height 4"
length 23.7
width 4"
extended length 17.89"
compressed length 12"
stroke length 5.89"
