Anyone else experiencing numerous factory navigation maps speed limit errors? We've only owned our Pacifica about 8 weeks and have just had the latest software update installed. We are encountering speed limit errors seemingly constantly here in Southern California. Soon we will be doing a cross country road trip, and it is seriously concerning to us that we are finding so many speed limit errors. Most are showing on screen as being higher than what is actually posted on the highway signs. Very concerned over potential tickets and all that goes with it, e.g., expensive fines, higher insurance rates, points on driver's licenses, etc. Thanks for your input.

Ten years ago we blocked off Plantation Lane in Florida to make our cul-de-sac... Still get frustrated drivers follosing Garmen & Google despite contacting them to include the change in their maps for the past decade. Good luck getting them to update speed limits - their responsibility appears to have ended with your sale.

Unfortunately, Google Maps has many mistakes too. I submit corrections to them at least twice a month. Some get corrected, some don't.

Unfortunately there isn't much you can do. They buy their info from google, they are always behind, even with new updates.

Regarding Google maps, I don't believe they have mistakes either, they just some times need updates. They relay on updates from different sources, not from individuals. Of course, you can flag accidents, police traps etc, but that info is temporary, other drivers may report it as wrong and your flag will be deleted.

What kind of corrections you submit?

I don't understand the bolded part. You should not be relying on the speed limits shown on a Navigation app.
