I have a 14 T&C minivan. It has 50k miles on it and the power locks just started not working. The child proof button is not activated. Also, the locks will not operate from the key fob. However, the key fob will open the doors and liftgate still. I did notice a small red dot blinking on the dash a few times. It is some sort of security alert. I am wondering if there is a simple way to reset this? Thanks so much

Hi JeffTR,

If you decide to visit your local dealership for further diagnosis I'd be happy to follow up with them for you if needed. Just PM our page with your VIN and let me know!

Do the power locks only not work with the key? Or do they not respond to the switches on the driver's and/or passenger's side door?

Mine was doing the opposite -- the lock/unlock was all that worked, while the sliding doors and tailgate wouldn't respond to the key fob. They did respond to the buttons inside the van. $240 later, a new key fixed the problem.

Did you ever find out what this way? My 2014 just started doing the same thing but on the drivers door. I can hit the key fob to unlock and all doors will unlock but the driver door. Putting my hand on the door handle sensor doesn't work either. I use the key out of the key fob to unlock the door manually and get in. Once moving the doors lock. When I try to get out again pushing the power door unlock on the arm rest doesn't work for driver door either. Just wondering if you found out anything.
