My right transfer line developed a pin hole and emptied the reservoir in five minutes. So i just replaced it with a cupro-nickle brake line and used a double bubble flare tool for the ends. The original flare requires a special machine and it uses o-rings on the reduced end. I checked with a rebuilder and that is all they do. It was a real pain in the ### to do it however. Not much room but at least I did not have to remove the rack. I suggest if you live in Canada to coat all the lines with grease to prevent future problems. Keep an eye on the high pressure hose, the heat shield around it traps moisture and the crimp on hydraulic connectors will leak as well.
I to just ran into this problem. And I want to just put a new line on with out removing the rack
