It's time address my rusting rear heater lines. I think I'd rather just bypass the whole rear heater. Van doesn't get driven often in the cold, and I've probably used rear heat like 3 times..
Can I just run a new length of hose to heater core outlet from the end of steel line under exhaust manifold, from thermostat side
New length of hose from throttle body side steel line to heater core inlet.
How do these vans regulate coolant flow/temperature to heater core? I've seen other cars that use a cable operated valve in line to adjust coolant flow/temperature.
(I'm basically copying the hose routing from my dads non-rear heat van.)
