I am planning to replace the rear shocks on my 2013 Town and Country and need help identifying if they standard shocks or load leveling. There are no labels or anything legible on them to tell me what they are. Any assistance would be appreciated or if someone could point me in the right direction that works too! Or if there is there a way to decode the VIN that would indicate which shocks came from the factory...

Those are standard. Assuming you don't have an S trim, 68144549AF is the part number.

You have the standard shocks. The part numbers you would need should be the Touring or softer ride shock:
OE# 68144549AF
KYB# 349225
Monroe 37290 for OE Spectrum or 33190 for the cheaper MonroeMatic
Gabriel # G64042
ZF Sachs 310 272(Harder to Find)

I don't recommend using Sensen, FCS, or other no name brands.

I have used the OEM, the MonroMatic 33190 and the KYB 349225.
For the best combo of ride and handling, the OEM may be best. KYB would be my next choice, just a little harder ride than OEM.

Here's what rockauto.com has. There's a rebate available on the KYBs.
How many miles on your old shocks? Leaking?

I will be honest. I did not own the vehicle for the first 90k of its life. The last 90k have been with me and the shocks have at least 90k on them since my purchase 😶 I missed the maintenance interval on them. The passenger (right) rear is leaking and noisy.

My Monroe struts that I got not too long ago are made in USA.

When them rear shocks start to fail, you're going to feel Very HEARD blows to the back axle when you go over bumps or sudden uneven road pavement on highways, like I did. It blew the axle bump stoppers. You will also experience this if you put cheap shocks.

I just installed the KYB 554379 gas-adjust-monotube shocks and am so impressed with the damping. It feels like the rear sticks to the road. Admittedly, any shock would have been an improvement over the original 12 year old shocks🤣 but the van never handled like this when new. 3 bolts came out with a bit of hassle but top passenger side I had to cut through with angle grinder. Never been touched in 12 years in Southern Ontario.

I have a '15 T&C Touring, non-load leveling rear shocks. I see in the pic that the Nivomats are made by Sachs. I recently bought Sachs regular shocks. Local private mechanic will install. Can't wait to see how they feel.
Fronts have already been changed by local shop who insisted on putting in FCS. Which is why I'm buying my own and having a private guy install them. FCS are half the cost (his best margin), for a reason. They might go soon with a decent tax refund. I'm also up for a fresh set of tires after the shocks, so......should be riding nice!
Will have to take a trip and see how they feel. He will install tomorrow.

A quick follow up on the above. Mechanic told me to check out the old shocks. One was almost impossible to move, while the other one was absolutely impossible to move. Both shocks were orig. with Chrysler logo and "Made in USA" stamped on them. Shot at 76k. As he pointed out, there wasn't much absorbing going on.
Van is much smoother, quieter. Little disappointed the ride isn't firmer, but it's a mini-van. Tires next.
