Took apart engine to replace a broken hydraulic lifter. After replacing lifter and spark plugs, coil pack, oil sender sensor, MAP Sensor, throttle position sensor, fuel filter and sender, starter tests good, new battery, new serpentine belt and pulley/tensioner. Got it to crank and start drove it around the block and it died and didn't start again. Gauges come on intermittently after hitting the dash what should I check next? Wires leading to the coil pack. Cam, Crank sensor?

You may have the cracked solder joints on the instrument cluster problem. Search the 3rd gen forum for threads on how to repair (if you know how to solder).
