I noticed that when the AC is on I get electrical whine through the speakers. Turn the ac/blower motor off and the whine goes away. This suggests I need to add or fix a capacitor/filter. Any suggestions where and what type? Thanks!

How long have you owned this vehicle?
Does it whine with the blower going in heat mode?
Did it whine from day 1?

Hi,

I've owned the vehicle for 3 years.
Whine appears to be present in heat mode - I set the thermistat to "HI" for both front and rear and presume this would disengage the compressors.
Did it whine from day 1 - hard to tell. I noticed some whine a while back but it seems to be worse now. At least it's bad enough to bother me now.

Pitch is constant - does not vary with throttle.
