I have a 2011 Town and Country with a starting problem that's been hard to diagnose. Occasionally when turning the key the starter will turn over once and then stop, makes a short rrr sound. It usually starts on the second try, but has at times needed 4-5 tries. This only happens once every 2-3 weeks. It has started when the transmission is put in neutral. A new tipm was installed September 2020, and it worked fine until December 2021 when the problem started again. In March 2022 a new starter and battery was installed, but the problem reoccured two weeks later. Since it would start when moving the shift from park to neutral I thought neutral safety switch, but a transmission shop said it was OK. Anybody else have this problem, and any ideas as to a repair. The van only has 57, 000 miles. I'm afraid it will not start at all.
