SXT vs GT models

Here is a good site I use for vehicle options, accessories, trim levels, and packages. The only downside is it is for USA vehicles only, and being that I live in Canada, the options and trim levels vary with what equipment was actually in what trim level. 2019 GT with 16K miles, a friend bought a 2019 SXT with 40K miles at the same time. He appears to get significantly better gas mileage, but I make shorter trips. I do not believe there is any difference in the engine or driveline. Maybe we should swap vehicles for a week, LOL.
Starting 2011 these vans had one engine, the 3.6L Pentastar engine with the 62TE transmission. Fuel economy will really come down to how you drive, if you use the remote start, city driving vs highway driving and so on. Realistically, it's the same engine and assuming nothing is wrong with it, they really should be getting the same economy. Do the swap, I'm curious!
