Ignition switch broke last night. Luckily I was home. New switch and key cylinder on the way. Does anyone know the size of the security torx mounting screws. Looks like T-20 or T-25, do they make security torx screw drivers. Need reach to get at them! Thanx

It would up being a security T-20. Got the new switch and key cylinder today and I'm back on the road. Downside is the wheel lock does'nt work anymore. Gear shift locks fine. Does anyone foresee a problem, or know the fix. I have no problem with no wheel lock. It brings back old memories!!

Was out of town when you posted, but I’m curious what you ended up using to get at the torx screws to remove the plastic steering wheel column covers?

I had plenty of T-20 adapters, but the covers prevent anything with width to it. The second issue being how deep set they are in the covers. You need something with length😏 to reach the screws. I ended up buying this set at Harbor Freight, worked great and I’ve used them on other vehicles since.(SKU: 94757) Just in case anyone else needs a solution for removing the covers.
