2003 T&C LXi FWD 77,000 miles
Starting having a "bump" in the transmission when downshifting. It only happens when slowing down, as the speedometer gets just below 30mph. I tried shifting into neutral (to eliminate brake issue) as I was slowing down and there was no "bump" as I passed 30mph. Accelerating doesn't seem to be a problem with shifting although today I noticed a little extra time as it shifted up at 30mph. No signs of leaking fluid, level is right where is should be.

Any thoughts? I don't have any test equipment to check codes myself.

There are several TSBs for shifting problems on 2003s. I can't read the narratives but I would bet the fix prescribed in the TSBs envolves reflashing the TCM. First step in just about any tranny shift problem is change the fluid and filter and use only ATF+4 fluid.

Fresh fluid has been known to fix many bumpy chrysler transmissions.
