So my original radio died during the deep freeze we had and I bought a new RBZ radio without nav. I have the UConnect Bluetooth module in the car and I can connect my phone but the volume just on phone calls is very low regardless if I put the volume to max during the call. So there is an update for the particular radio but I can't update the software from the front USB port. I have no other USB port any where else to plug it in. Is there a hidden USB port somewhere? There is no USB port in the upper glove box or the planet by the driverside sliding door. Is there a USB port on the uconnect module where ever it's installed? Thanks

Out of curiosity... if you put a music file on the USB, does it see that? Seems if it can read the filesystem then it should be able to read the update file.
Is the update meant to be extracted to the root? I've never updated my factory radio, but on some devices firmware updates were looked for in certain folders. Check the instructions that came with the files.
