696 hours and 25,071 miles currently on our '11 Crew. It was a rental, and obviously spent a fair amount of time puttering around town. I am interested to see what others have... I like the engine hour meter, I grew up on a farm around heavy equipment and all of our maintenance was done on a schedule based on hours. Usually change oil on the tractors around 100 hours, will be interesting to see how many hours the van gets before the oil change reminder comes on.

Please reply with the following:

Ours has 10017 mi and 268 hrs. This equates to 37.38 mph average. We didn't get the "Change Oil" light in 6400 mi without a reset. (I changed it at around 800 mi, but didn't reset anything) We do use the remote start quite often.
It won't go back to the dealer until May unless we break the 12,000 mi mark first.

Engine hours: 268
Miles: 10017
Average speed: 37.4 mph

One thing I noticed on the Chevy truck I am in for the day is that it has gallons used for the life of the vehicle.
That would be handy to get a good idea of overall average mpg.

Does everyone know that engine hours can be accessed through the EVIC? Go to vehicle info and scroll down to the bottom...
Never knew it was possible. I guess it can't be done without the EVIC option though? I am curious how many hours my work truck has. I don't idle much because it's tracked by the office.

Should make this Thread a Sticky, I'm thinkin.

Today, July27, 2021, for the 2016 DGC:

136,644 km / 84,907 miles
2248 hours
60.8 kmph / 37.8 mph

Using synthetic oil for an oil change, back in early 2020, I ran the oil until the change light came on. The data follows:

15,467 km / 9,611 miles
247 hours
62.6 kmph / 38.9 mph

There were some road trips in that oil change. This vehicle does not get idled for warm up during cold weather normally, nor for cool down in the hot weather.

What's your mileage reading?
141,000 mi (and if it’s reading 65k hrs…that’s a ~2mph average speed …can’t be right)

Just can’t find anywhere on how one is supposed to read the number based on holding down trip button for 5-6sec or so…

That could be 6553.5 for an average speed of 141000/6553.5 = 21.5 mph. Keep checking as you drive to see what's going on.

Anything in your Owners Manual on that feature?

You may not have the feature called EVIC

Right, but how did he do this with no evic?
Maybe it was a fleet vehicle, they have engine hours for oil changes.

Check the Owner's Manual that's available, free from Chrysler, online, to see what it says. You likely have an Owner's Guide, which may not have it.

Somebody else may know the answer.

It might be here:
User Programmable Features (without an EVIC)
