Wow. I thought my 2008 3.8 with 242,000 was alot.
Wow. I thought my 2008 3.8 with 242,000 was alot.454,000 miles on my 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT. Original 4.0 engine and original 6 spd trans.
Yes - thank you - 242,000 is a nice mileage too. Just make sure you always keep an eye on your oil / coolant levels, and take off easy from stops. You'll be at 300,000 before you know it!Wow. I thought my 2008 3.8 with 242,000 was alot.
Yeeeessshhh! My 2016 T&C needed a new trans at 69k.2012 TC w/ 103k miles. The tranny blew up in spectacular fashion around 90k miles and left me stranded on the road and $3,800 poorer.
No, they have discontinued that program....Is the "High mileage" tag holder still available?
I have over a million miles on vehicles with Chrysler transmissions. Never had one fail.Yeeeessshhh! My 2016 T&C needed a new trans at 69k.
What's with these Chrysler transmissions anyway/??
I bought my 2009 GC just under 3 years ago with 214k on it. I mostly retired it as my work vehicle with 407k on it. Still runs well, but I needed something a few less miles on it, so I bought another 5th gen; this time a 2014 RAM C/V Tradesman with 128k on the clock that had been a DirecTV installation van all its life.
Wow that's real bad! The only positive is that the rebuilt transmission has a 3 year/100k mile warranty. Once it goes, the van is headed to the scrap heap. Honda transmission are crap as well, but I've never had a Toyota tranny fail (nor known anybody who has). Sienna will be my next van for sure.Yeeeessshhh! My 2016 T&C needed a new trans at 69k.

Check how your second row seat belt latch is situated on the seat belt. If wrong, it will bump against the side. I noticed that first on my 2016 GC and twisted it around. No more of that bumping noise. May as well check your other seat belts too.2015 T&C 82000 miles......no issues...so far. just changed spark plugs....runs great.....except all that clunking in the back....??? I had a GC loaner did the same thing....whats up with that clunking back there?
I have put a few thousand miles on it since purchase, including 1000 miles on the way home. It could use shocks and struts, but it tracks straight with no clunks. The previous operator was a smoker, against company policy, so it kind of reeks. The brakes were shot, so I wound up getting the front brakes serviced right after I picked it up. Other than that, and a couple of acorns in the blower motor's squirrel cage, it's been great so far.Good luck on that one.
DirectTV installers drive on very rough roads. Make sure you check suspension.
Next time you visit a motel, ask one of the maintenance guys to let you use their O3 generator overnight, they probably would if not using it. That would kill cigarette odors very well.I have put a few thousand miles on it since purchase, including 1000 miles on the way home. Try Nilodor, it's about $15 on Amazon...I have put a few thousand miles on it since purchase, including 1000 miles on the way home.
