232,000 on my 2011 T&C Limited and headed to Miami next week. The MAXIMUM WARRANTY I purchased when new has paid off for sure. I’ve had fuel pump cam changed plus starter work done.

Next time you visit a motel, ask one of the maintenance guys to let you use their O3 generator overnight, they probably would if not using it. That would kill cigarette odors very well.

If someone jumps on this thread and tell you not to do it because it would damage plastic trim in your vehicle, just don't listen, it would take a very long time of use to cause any damages.

Good luck.
Be very careful with any device that emits ozone. The maximum allowed, expose level for SHORT term exposure is 50 ppb, (parts per billion). There really is no safe level for ozone. It can cause severe lung damage even in what would be considered a very short time. This damage can be cumulative over time and can cause severe irritation and scarring of the lung tissue and can cause breathing difficulties, coughing and even unconsciousness in a fairly short time. Ozone has been shown to have almost no effect on odor removal and does not cause dust or smoke particles to settle on surfaces for cleaning. The best and safest device for odor and particulate removal is a quality HEPA filtration device/system. An ozone generator may not harm the plastic surfaces in your vehicle, but it can and probably will cause lung damage and other deleterious health effects.

I do have a ozone generator, it kills smoke odors for good in a couple of hours, don't know where you get your information from. Ozone even kills odors from clothes, drapery etc. No HEPA filtration system alone can do it.

Ozone generators should always be used on unoccupied space, never to be used as a daily air conditioner.

And you know what? as stated before, the sweet smell you notice right before a thunderstorm is nothing else but ozone generated by the atmospheric electric discharges, everybody feels better after breathing it, can't be as bad as you say.

All hotels use ozone to kill smoke odors, couple of hours and you're done.

Ozone is used to disinfect potable water, also used in pools and many other places.

Now, in case you got your information from an EPA page (seems like you did), I'll recommend you to read the complete article.

Hello fellow T&C 4.0 Limited owner. I have a 2008. Question have you replaced your timing belt yet? I have 132K miles and I have not done it yet.

I have the life time warranty and the dealer just replaced my head gaskets under warranty and they wanted to charge me $1K to replace the belt and tension pulleys. They claim that with the 4.0 you do not have to take off the belt to do the gaskets - so they have the cost involved. My mechanic wants $400 to do the same work though I am told the belt rarely breaks but the tension pulleys may fail at some point. I even set up a post here to get everybody's opinion. I would appreciate to know if you have done it or had any issues. Thank you very much. KT

I hope I can get 200K miles!
(5th Gen) 28,000 on my 2015 Ram C/V Tradesman-already disappointed. HVAC actuator failure and radio FM doesn't work.
(4th gen) 165,000 on my wife's 2006 Chrysler T&C-and it still runs like new. Outside of routine stuff, all I have ever had to do was replace a water pump and one sliding door actuator.

I am happy to see 150K miles on the 4.0L with no issues. I am told that these belts never break but the tensioner may start to fail as a sign for replacement. Just FYI.
That's what I have heard too.I just got the van in march with 156 k on it and it runs like top.No bother on asking questions.Have a good day.

2016 Dodge GC RT 60,550 miles. Only problems i've had are the Trans had to be re programmed and serviced due to poor shifting and the AC comes on by it self even after I turn it off.

2013 T&C with 59k - Faults - Alternator under warranty - Oil Temp sensor replacement - Hood Rust under warranty ( Now back again and out of warranty ) Right passenger door does not lock and have to manually lock it - AC just stopped working. Car has been looked after and runs on MOB1. Probably my last Chrysler product though. It does drive very nice still. When flooring gas pedal, we have always got oil vapor in the cabin since bought it with 15k 5 years ago.

Hi bigbadbill,
We're sorry to hear about these concerns. We suggest visiting your dealer for an inspection if you have not done so already. We are also available via private message if you would like any additional assistance during that process.

With only 48,730 miles on my 2011 T&C we're not eligible for the High Mileage Club. But I am a member of the "Mile High Club" - that should be worth something? Congrats on 200K. I'd be interested to know it you have had to do any major maintenance on Caravans? Had tons of problems with the "clock spring" in the beginning - must have gone back to the dealer 6 or 7 times before it ever got fixed - - even threatened a law suit of this one. I've had one head replaced on the engine, replaced an alternator, and had the front end rebuilt - fortunately all under warranty. Purchases a lifetime bumper-to-bumper extended warranty when I bought the van - best money I ever spent.

Purchased my 2013 T&C 2 years ago with 70k miles on it.
I now have 89k Miles on it. I never gets less than 21mpg, and on long freeway road trips it averages 25mpg.

Had to replace a broken flex plate at 82k miles, and the Y water heater pipes started leaking at 86k miles.

I use a full synth 10w-30 oil, the engine is a little quieter on this thicker oil.

Purchased my 2012 Dodge GC R/T new in 2012, replacing a 2003 T&C AWD. My GC has 116,000 miles and I intend to drive it for another 116,000. Is a great family vehicle and also fun to drive.
