Just bought a used 2007 T&C LX. Took a trip, and we wonder how we ever got along without it!
The problem- the passenger side sliding door won't open from the inside. It works from the outside. Vehicle does not have the power door opener. I have checked, and the child safety lock is not activated. Any hints or help out there? TIA

K.I.S.S. Keep It Simple, Sir: :eekkkk:

First thing I would do is lubricate the door latches (an as long as you are at it, lubricate the rollers on the sliding doors too)

I just fixed my bros' '96 Caravan this way...boy, they were difficult to open even from the outside. :jpshakehe

I used a spray penetrant (Kroil, WD40, etc) followed up by a few drops of engine oil for longevity.

Hopefully this will fix your problem.

did you move the child safety switch at all? Maybe it is not fully engaged?
With the outside working and inside not, that is the only thing I can think of besdides the inside button/linkage being broken

Had that problem with the rear hatch. Didn't want to release when I pushed the button to have it automatically lift up. I finally made an appointment to fix it and just as suddenly as it started, it quit doing it a day before I was to take it in. It's been working great for the last two months.
