For about 2-3 months now, have had an intermittent issue which is becoming much worse, very quickly. Until last week, this happened about once every other week, or less frequently. In the last week, it started happening about once a day, and today I had it happen 5 or 6 times in just a single 30-minute ride.
That issue being, the dash display, radio, overhead media screen, all internal lights (maybe external too - IDK) blackout for a second. Then every light comes on, all the warning lights, all the info panels, everything, along with a speaker popping sound (like you plug in or unplug something from an amp) from the speakers. Then it goes back to normal.
Also today, not sure if this is directly related or a similar but unrelated issue... I was on the phone and using bluetooth to use the van's speakers and etc.; multiple times (definitely each time the above-mentioned loss of display/reset of display happened, but also a few times when there were no visible symptoms) the van just dropped the call - I was still connected, my phone still thought it was broadcasting bluetooth and the phonecall was still active, but I had no speaker/microphone for a few moments. I eventually just turned off my phone's bluetooth and switched to its native speakerphone instead.
Anyone experience anything like this? I am debating between taking it into a shop to get diagnosed, and just taking it into a dealer to trade it in - we've been considering a new van for some time now, separate from these issues it is having, seems like it might be a good time to throw in the towel and upgrade if this is going to be a big issue to take care of.
